Term 2 fractions

Fractions fractions fractions! Recently in maths we have been learning about fractions. The teacher ran many different tests and fractions workshops each time we went to one we had to get it stamped on our passports one workshop I went to was making the answer a fraction 

Reading term 2

This term I hacpve been reading a range of different texts. I have been learning to use the punctuation in the texts my favourite text we have read was the bat and it was about baseball 

Term 2 mult and div

Earlier in the term we were learning about

Multiplication and division. A strategy i learned was doubling and halveing 

This strategy helps me to understand my multiplication more

Term 2 persuasive writing

We have been learning to write persuasive texts.

To do this we had to use our words to convince someone to believe something.

Here is an example of my writing. I tried to persuade the Hawkes bay community to stop dumping rubbish 

Term 2 netball

In netball we have been learning to keep our ballance while shooting 

The skill I have most improved in us ballance

To learn this skill I had to practice a lot 

My reading workshop

In my reading workshop we have been learning to understand the text that we are reading.  My  favourite book that we have read so far has been how to keep our waters clean it was non fiction.

CAPE TO CITY INQUIRY This term our inquiry is cape to city. We have had many trips and visitors to help us learn and experience more about this Something that has stuck with me was how much pollution is in the rivers .
